Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Anna Moneymaker is a photographer based in Washington, DC. She received her bachelor’s degree from American University in 2018, with a major in film in media arts and minor in international studies. Her work centers on many notable subjects that surround politics, the arts, and the humanities in the United States.
In the months following her graduation, Moneymaker shot for The Hill and covered a multitude of events -- from the Kavanaugh confirmation process to Senator John McCain’s funeral. Her work was published on the front page on numerous occasions during her time there.
Additionally, she shoots concerts regularly within the D.C. music scene covering shows for IMP Productions, Union Market’s All Things Go festival, Capitol Sounds DC, and ChunkyGlasses.
Her portrait and headshot work has also been published in several outlets, including Variety.
